About Us

O.M.S. Motors was started in the year 1988 by first generation engineer, Mr. C. Sabareeswaran at Royapettah, Chennai, India as a modest multi-brand automobile service station.

Within a span of 10 years, Mr. Sabareeswaran was able to carve out a niche for the company in the field of automotive service and spare parts by providing honest and quality service and spare parts. In 1998 O.M.S. Motors was incorporated into the Company’s Act in India and became a Private Limited Company. In the year 2000, we moved to a 14,000 sq. ft. office (owned by us) to further support our steady expansion.

In the year 2019, with the addition of second-generation engineer Mr. S. Shivbalaji S/o Mr. C. Sabareeswaran, the exports division was created, and O.M.S. Motors began the supply of standard and custom engineering components to customers in India and abroad. This internal division of the company is designated as O.M.S. Engineering Technologies.

In 2023, O.M.S. Engineering Technologies moved to a 3000 sq.ft. space and set up a rubber compression moulding facility to manufacture high quality moulded rubber components in-house so as to have more control over the production schedule and material quality.

By leveraging the broad experience and knowledge base of the directors of the company, we can manufacture and supply quality rubber products and develop in-house testing capabilities to further validate and certify the quality of supplied products thereby increasing customer confidence and trust.
